Need access to your pedal's innards? If it's in a Hammond Mfg. style enclosure then these configurable magnetic risers will help you get the job done. Avoid scratches on the finish and secure an assembled pedal without precariously resting it all on it's own surface knobs/controls.
You can order a complete and printed set from me here (does not include steel plate). OR you can download the STL files for free, print these yourself, and then source the other parts.
V2 Parts
- (x4) 3D printed riser tops
- (x4) counter sunk 1/2" n52 or n42 magnets and ~1/8" thick (like these). Technically you could use any countersunk magnet you wanted, so long as the countersunk hole allows the screw head to fully within the magnet.
- (x4) #6-32 x 1-3/4" screw
- (x4) #6 lock washer
- (x4) #6-32 nut
V1 MAGNET SPECS
Recessed magnet cavities are 1/2" in diameter and 1/8" deep. I used 1/2"D x 1/8"T N52 magnets like these with a countersunk hole along with some super glue to ensure they stayed put.
Don't have a metal surface to work with? Home depot has got these little steel plates for less than $3. They get the job done nicely.
